The Station Restaurant features several dining areas. What was once the station's waiting room is now the main dining room which features chandeliers from the dining room of the Ithaca Hotel and benches from the original station waiting room. The burgundy material used in upholstering the benches was bought from the Lehigh Valley Railroad who used it for the seats of their trains. The material is Pre-World War II fabric.
Several black railroad lanterns used to light the restaurant and exit signs were found at railroad yards in Sayre, PA, a Lehigh Valley terminal. Other lanterns as well as various signs were generously donated by the Payne Railroad Museum.
Authentic Lehigh Valley pictures and maps, gathered over the past years from collectors, contribute significantly to our decor.
The rest rooms still have the old marble partitions and hardware which we salvaged and used. The tile floor is original.
The Station's ticket counter has become The Station's Bar.
Another dining area is located where the original Railroad platform was located.
For the ultimate nostalgic experience, dine in our railroad dining car.
